Bring agent approval alerts into Teams.
Use a Teams Workflow to post Stacksona Connect notices where your team already coordinates. Connect sends an alert to that destination; it does not read your Teams conversations.
For Microsoft 365 teams who handle approvals or shared inbox operations in Teams channels and want the alert to appear in their existing workflow.
Create a Teams Workflow webhook
A Teams Workflow creates the receiving endpoint; Connect then validates and tests that generated URL.
Select a team and channel
Choose the Teams location that has the right reviewers. Check the channel’s access and retention expectations before sending operational notices there.
Start from an incoming webhook workflow
In Teams Workflows, choose an incoming webhook template for your channel or chat. Complete the trigger setup and copy the generated URL.
Paste the workflow URL into Connect
In the mailbox’s Notifications settings, add Microsoft Teams and paste the URL. Connect validates the supported workflow address when you save.
Send a test and check Teams
Use Connect’s test action. Open the chosen channel and verify that the card or message arrived before enabling it for day-to-day alerts.
Use a new Workflow endpoint for Teams.
Connect accepts supported Power Automate Workflows URLs. Older Office 365 Connector addresses are not supported. Some generated endpoints require an authentication method that Connect’s sender cannot provide, so let Connect validate and test the URL before depending on it.
- A Teams admin may need to allow Workflows or webhook use in your organization.
- Keep a second owner on important workflows so maintenance does not depend on one person.
- Use Connect’s actual test result to confirm that the generated URL is compatible.
Teams gets a signal; Connect holds the message and decision.
A Teams post tells your reviewers that attention is needed and links them to the Connect item. They return to Connect to inspect a protected message or make an approval decision under the mailbox’s access controls.
- Send approval notices to a channel with the right reviewers.
- Do not use a channel webhook as an approval interface.
- Replace the URL in both Teams and Connect if it is rotated or exposed.
Teams Workflows and review behavior
Are old Office 365 Connector URLs supported?
No. Use the current Teams Workflows incoming webhook URL. Legacy Office 365 Connector endpoints are not supported by Connect.
Why does a Teams workflow URL fail?
The workflow may use an endpoint host or authentication mode Connect does not support. Generate a compatible incoming webhook workflow, then save and test that URL in Connect.
Can anyone in Teams approve the request from the card?
No. The post is a notification. Review the linked item and make the decision in Stacksona Connect.
Send Connect alerts to a Teams channel
