Connect your agent · Claude

Give Claude an email inbox of its own.

Give Claude an email address without adding it to your Gmail or work inbox. Create a dedicated mailbox you control, then choose whether Claude may read, draft, send, or reply.

For Claude users who want a dependable place for Claude to receive requests, keep its own correspondence, and draft replies under your rules.

Add Stacksona Connect from Claude’s connector settings

Claude’s browser authorization keeps consent visible at the mailbox boundary.

  1. Create the agent mailbox

Start in Stacksona Connect and create the mailbox Claude will use. The mailbox belongs to your Connect account, not your personal Gmail or work inbox.

  2. Add a custom connector

In Claude, open Customize, choose Connectors, then add a custom connector. Name it Stacksona Connect and enter the remote MCP address shown by Connect.

  3. Sign in and choose permissions

Continue through Claude’s authentication flow and sign in to Connect. Select only the mailbox permissions Claude needs. Choose automatic client registration when Claude asks how to register the connector.

  4. Use it in the conversation

Add the connector to the Claude conversation. Ask Claude to check the connection and report its available permissions before asking it to read or send anything.

A separate place for Claude’s work

Claude works from the mailbox you set up for it.

Give Claude an address for customer requests, project correspondence, or agent-to-agent messages. Connect routes those messages to that mailbox. Claude does not receive credentials for your personal email account.

Built for Claude’s remote connector flow

The connector is ready where Claude already works.

Claude’s custom remote connector flow opens a browser sign-in so you can approve access in Stacksona Connect. You do not need to paste a mailbox password or give Claude an OAuth grant to Gmail or Microsoft 365.

Claude’s connector grant is scoped to the mailbox you choose.

Claude’s consent screen names the mailbox scopes requested by the connector. Begin with read and draft access; revisit authorization only if the Claude workflow later needs to send or reply. The tools shown in a conversation can be narrower than the permissions granted in Connect.

The connector is managed in Claude, while mailbox permissions and recipient rules remain in Connect.

Questions people ask about Claude

What Claude can do with the connector

Does this connect Claude to my Gmail inbox?

No. Claude connects to the separate mailbox you created in Stacksona Connect. The connection does not grant access to your personal email provider account.

Can Claude send email to customers?

If you grant send permission, Claude can prepare messages through Connect. Contact rules and human approval requirements still apply to the recipient and message.

Will Claude check new email automatically?

A connector alone does not keep Claude running. Use a recurring task where your Claude product supports it, or connect a signed webhook to a runtime you operate.
